Early Detection of Developmental Delays and Disabilities

The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) in collaboration with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is leading a training initiative for the purpose of educating parents on the early signs of developmental disabilities, delays and chronic health conditions in children 0-5 yrs. In this workshop, you will improve your knowledge and awareness of developmental delays to better identify signs of concern and how to connect to appropriate screenings and interventions. A review of the most common developmental disabilities and a developmental milestones tracker for caregivers will be included in the presentation.

Sponsored by: The Georgia Department of Public Health, Maternal and Child Health
